Dedicated Development Teams
A dedicated engineering team, set up the way you work
A team that works only on your product, 1–2 hours from CET. Your product owner sets the priorities and our team lead runs the team, or we manage the whole project for you. Either way, you see the work every week.
Organisations we've built for
Best for
When a dedicated team is the right move
If one of these sounds like your situation, a dedicated team is usually the quickest way forward.
Hiring is slow
Hiring senior engineers locally takes months, and the roadmap can't wait that long.
A team with the roles you need, led by our team lead from the first day.
A bigger roadmap
Your product has more planned this year than your engineers can build.
A second team on its own part of the roadmap, working to your priorities and the same standards.
Steady capacity
Freelancers come and go, and every new face needs weeks to learn the product.
The same people on your product month after month, with key people agreed and no swaps without your approval.
Time zones
Your last outsourced team was asleep when you needed answers.
Engineers 1–2 hours from CET, with a working day that overlaps yours, in English and German.
What you get
Two ways to work with a team
You choose who owns the delivery. In both, our team lead runs the team and you see the work every week.
Managed project
We take ownership of delivery: the plan, the team and the results, against a scope agreed with you.
Dedicated team
Your product owner sets the goals and the order of the backlog. Our team lead plans the work and runs the team.
The roles you need
Engineers, testers, designers and DevOps, put together for your product and changed only with your agreement.
Monthly team rate
One monthly rate for the team, set out in the proposal. Managed projects can also run on a fixed scope.
Every team includes
A team lead from our side who runs the team
Work in your tools and repositories
A demo every week and access to the repository
An NDA for every engineer, on request
How we deliver
From the first call to a team that delivers
The same three steps as every project we run, starting with what the team must deliver.
01
Plan
We agree the goals, the roles, the key people and how work flows between your product owner and our team lead. You get the team, the start date and the monthly rate in writing.
02
Thin slice
The team's first piece of work is small and shipped early, so you see how the team works before it grows. Then a demo every week.
03
Launch and handover
When the work ends or moves to your own team, we hand over the code, the documentation and what the team knows, and remove our access.
Roles
Who decides what, and who runs the team
Clear roles keep the team fast and the contract clean. This is how the work is split.
Your product owner.
Sets the goals and the order of the backlog, joins planning and demos, and accepts the results.
Our team lead.
Assigns the work, runs the daily meeting and takes in requests from your staff. Responsible for quality and delivery.
Key people, agreed.
The key people on the team are agreed with you before it starts, and nobody is swapped without your approval.
Security and data
Your product, your access rules
A dedicated team works deep inside your product. This is how that stays safe.
NDA on request.
Every engineer can sign an NDA if you want one, and we work under a data processing agreement wherever personal data is involved.
Access you control.
You create the accounts in your tools, marked as FlightLabs accounts, and they're removed when the work ends.
Your data stays put.
The team works in your systems and repositories. Copies of production personal data never leave them.
