Healthcare

Healthcare software for hospitals and health systems

We build hospital and clinic software: patient records, billing, laboratory, pharmacy and reporting in one system. Our engineering team has built two hospital systems, each live within four months of kickoff.

Where we come in

When your hospital outgrows paper and separate tools

These are the situations we are asked to fix.

Records on paper

Patient records sit on paper or in a different tool for each department, and nobody sees the full picture.

One record across reception, wards, laboratory and pharmacy, with every change logged.

Waiting patients

Patients wait because registration, triage and the departments don't share information.

A flow from reception to discharge where each step sees the last one's result.

Billing and credit

Billing and credit are tracked by hand, so mistakes and unpaid bills surface late.

Billing and credit built into the patient journey, with reports that finance can trust.

Reports that take days

Management and authorities ask for figures, and someone builds them by hand each time.

Reporting built on the same data the departments work with, so the numbers come from one place.

What we build

Systems for the whole patient journey

Built module by module, so the first department goes live early and the rest follow.

Patient flow

Reception, triage, outpatient and inpatient care, and wards.

Clinical departments

Laboratory, pharmacy, dialysis and physiotherapy, each connected to the patient record.

Billing and credit

Invoices, credit management and payments tied to what was actually delivered.

Reporting

Dashboards and exports for departments, management and authorities.

Platforms we start from

Rules we build for

Health data has its own rules

We plan for them in the data plan before any work starts. This isn't legal advice: your lawyer or data protection officer has the final say.

A special category of data.

Health data is a special category of personal data under the GDPR, with stricter conditions. Access, logging and test data are designed around that.

Professional secrecy.

In Germany, doctors and clinics are bound by professional secrecy (§203 StGB), and outside engineers must be bound to it too. We agree a written secrecy obligation with you before anyone gets access.

German health data stays in the EU.

For statutory health and social data, cloud processing is limited to Germany, the EU or an adequate country, with extra requirements for the provider (§393 SGB V). We tell you early if your project falls under it.

How we protect your data

What we've built

Two hospital systems, built in four months

What was built

Hospital management systems for two hospitals in Ethiopia. They cover reception and triage, outpatient and inpatient care, laboratory, pharmacy, dialysis, physiotherapy and billing with credit management, with reporting for management.

How long it took

Both systems went live four months after kickoff, with staff trained at the hospital. The full write-ups are in our case studies.

FAQ

Questions about healthcare software

Yes, if you approve it as the controller, under a data processing agreement and inside your EU systems. By default we work with synthetic or anonymised data, so real patient data doesn't reach a test system.

Hospital management systems. Our engineering team has delivered two of them, and the case studies show what was built and how long it took.

Either. We start with the workflow that matters most, then add modules one at a time, so the first department is live early and the rest follow.

Usually, through their interfaces or data imports. We check what each system offers during the plan, and test every connection on each release.

Rules such as §393 SGB V restrict where this data can be processed. We tell you early if your project falls under them, and agree where the data and the work stay.

Yes. Web apps are built to WCAG 2.1 AA, so they work with keyboards and screen readers, which matters for patients as much as for staff.
