Overview

Users struggled to find places reliably because geographic and address data was fragmented across sources. The core challenge was technical (normalizing complex spatial data) and product-driven (making it usable for non-technical users).

We built a platform that unifies datasets into a single source of truth, supports fast search and navigation, and allows the community to improve coverage through an “Add Place” flow with validation.

Data audit + core platform roadmap
We began with a comprehensive discovery phase to audit available geographic data sources. By mapping out the data flow early, we established a roadmap that prioritized data integrity and system performance, ensuring the platform could scale horizontally as more regions are added.

Unified Geographic Architecture
Our team developed a custom architecture to unify diverse datasets into a single source of truth. This involved building sophisticated data pipelines to ingest, clean, and normalize spatial information, making it accessible via a high-performance API for both web and mobile applications.

Intuitive UX & Prototyping
